Highland Preparatory seeks to enroll students who demonstrate the academic ability, character, and potential to successfully complete our college preparatory program and make a positive contribution to our school community. Admission to Highland is both selective and thoughtful, with careful consideration given to a candidate's character, previous academic record, recommendations, and performance on admissions testing.

How to Apply:

An application to Highland Preparatory Academy does not guarantee admission. All applications must go through the Admissions Team for review. This process will take a minimum of 2 weeks. All decisions of the Admissions Team are final. The Admissions Team reserves the right to request and/or require any additional information needed to make an admissions decision.

STEP ONE: 

Click here to complete the admission application electronically. Applicants will be required to upload the following required documents before the application can be submitted:

  • Copy of report cards for the past 2 years. 

  • Most recent Standardized Test scores (if applicable)

  • Two letters of recommendation

 

STEP TWO:

Pay the application fee. The application fee ($75) is non-refundable.

Application Deadline: July 23, 2025

STEP THREE:

A. After receiving your initial application, our admissions committee will review all materials. This takes a minimum of one week. 

B. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview and/or online placement test. 

C. Notification of final admission decisions will be sent by email no later than July 28, 2025.

Evaluations and Testing

Following the receipt of the completed application packet, the admissions department will invite shortlisted students to schedule for online placement testing. This is phase 3 of the admissions process. 

 

 

 Enrollment

Once the application committee has approved the student's application, the Admissions Director will notify you. An enrollment packet must be completed to finalize a student's position at Highland Prep. The enrollment packet can be completed online. The packet includes the following forms and items:​

  • Authorization of a monthly payment plan (if not paying in full)

  • Student Medical Information Form & Immunization records

  • Tuition (due by July 30th if paying in full)

  • Student/Family Contact Registration Form

 

Admissions Frequently Asked Questions​
  • Highland Preparatory does not accept students in need of credit recovery or in a current failure status.

  • Students must be able to function in a classroom setting without one-to-one supervision.
